Sybil Delling has spent nearly a decade serving the gods—and longing to be free of them.

As a Diviner in the great cathedral of Traum, Sybil is bound to the Omens—mysterious, otherworldly beings who send her visions through dreams. From these glimpses of the future, she warns kings and commoners alike of the dangers to come. But prophecy comes at a cost, and Sybil has spent nine years sacrificing her own life to serve others.

Now, with her time of service nearly complete, freedom is finally within reach.

Until the Diviners begin to disappear.

When a sharp-tongued, irreverent knight named Rodrick arrives at the cathedral, he is everything Sybil distrusts—skeptical of her visions, dismissive of the gods, and dangerously compelling. But as the mystery deepens and the world beyond the cloister proves far more perilous than she imagined, Sybil is forced into an uneasy alliance with the one man who defies everything she’s ever believed.

Because to uncover the truth—and to challenge the power behind the Omens—she may need more than faith.

She may need a heretic.

Dark, romantic, and richly atmospheric, The Knight and the Moth is a spellbinding fantasy of prophecy, rebellion, and forbidden connection—where destiny is written in dreams, and love may be the most dangerous vision of all.
